Unfortunately, we can't do anything about it since it comes from our host.
Regardless, click your profile and hit "edit profile".
Now, click "preferences". You should see this:
By default, it is turned on. Just tick "no" on both boxes and save it.
We recommend you also experiment with the preferences to make sure it best fits what you want.

Just click "notifications" and disable all e-mail options.
